Us natural meat eaters are able to take what we need from the meat we consume and transmute the rest, it's just a natural ability that comes with our natural dietary needs.Spirituality & Practice is a multifaith website providing resources for spiritual journeys for people of all religions and spiritual paths. So I'd say that for people who come from a genetic background where eating meat isn't natural to them, they may find that consuming meat dampens their spiritual abilities because it's not natural to them, and my theory is that they lack the ability to transmute those denser energies the way natural meat eaters do. If anything, my spiritual abilities have become even more fine tuned because my body is getting what it needs and is operating as it should be. I think with how these energies are affecting my body and upgrading my system, apparently I needed the extra support from meat products to carry me through that. So I started not only consuming more meat but incorporating beef into my diet again, and I felt better instantly.

It wasn't abstaining from meat for any other reason other than laziness, but I found myself feeling weak and chilly a lot out of the blue last summer. If you can't respect that, honestly that tells me everything about where you're lacking vibrationally.įor myself, I found that ascension made me rely on meat even more so, my body just really needed it. Everyone needs different things, and that really needs to be respected. And I'm definitely not saying that factory farming is cool or that the way we go about it today is in accordance with nature, but that doesn't mean people who actually NEED to consume meat should refrain from doing so. What bothers me about spiritual vegans is that they completely ignore that there were indigenous tribes who were living in harmony with the earth and respected the hierarchy of the animal kingdom, where we sat in that hierarchy and consumed meat and animal products as necessary, so who are they to say that you CAN'T be deeply spiritual and in tune with nature while consuming meat? That's a colonists mentality, if anything, as many of these tribes were incredibly spiritual, much more so than your average hotep vegan who thinks they need to push their way of life on to others. However, not everyone comes from a genetic background that supports veganism either, so for those of us who come from the latter, we're going to need to consume meat and animal products as necessary. And it's for that reason that the entire spiritual aspect of veganism/vegetarianism gets annoying to me and very quickly becomes dogmatic in its sense of spiritual morality.įor one, not everyone comes from a genetic background that supports eating meat, it's just not natural to them. You always have to listen to your spirit, and your body first and foremost. Look, I'd never ever tell anyone who is truly spiritually adverse to consuming meat and animal products (like, it was a NATURAL adverse reaction as a result of their progression in their spiritual awakening, not something they were told by someone else), and in turn their bodies are clearly rejecting that kind of food to force themselves to do so.
